Literature Review:

Language learning is fundamentally enjoyable, or must be, if done sensibly, in turn with how a brain learns. We learn our first language fairly good , with no clear tutoring sadly, the coaching of second languages is curved into a difficult classroom observance, consisting of insensitive “grammar rules, irritating drills, rote memory and tests”. Research uncovers that many language learner are unenthusiastic in learning any languages. They may not learn their first language if its taught in this way.

“One of the most innovative thinkers on language learning is Stephen Krashen, who has pointed out that languages are acquired through meaningful input and not deliberate instruction. His insights are being confirmed by the latest research on how the brain learns, as described in an excellent book by German brain researcher, Manfred Spitzer,Learning: The Human Brain and the School for Life. As Spitzer says, learning takes place in the brain, not at school“

Recent survey conducted among my fellow students and my colleagues, has examined that the point outlined by Stephen Krashen is true, and web2.0 is surely providing a learning platform which is becoming a source of meaningful knowledge shared by others.

How important time and money factor is for a language learner..?

Time:

time is the only factor which influence a new learner or and experineced learner to acquire knowledge about some thing but the most crusial part for any indivual is how will they manage it. As discussed in the web2.0 brief social networking is a tool which is more effective and time saving. If a user is learning new language he/she will lookup surely for a languge learning website and what normaly users do is check the testimonials and analyse hwo they can benefit from a particular website.

Money:

factors which are more closely associated with cost is
Geographic Location , Quality of Products/Content, Web site trafic, Sponsorships, Certifications, are few to mention. Study shows that web based learner look for certain common sense features in a website when he/she wants to learn virtualy.

While reviewing several articles I found few easy methods of language learning in a natural way via Internet or So Called eLearning

eLearning innovative world of usual learning at our finger-tips.

eLearning is a platform which offers a broad range of information in different languages, and there are many low-cost websites offer effective learning methods, like wise virtual class rooms, etc and network of people around the world with whom a user can connect to talk and interact. “The internet is becoming the classroom, the library, the source of content, the language laboratories”, almost all the websites has support community for users to seek help if needed. The Internet is becoming an absolute home for the language learners.

Research shows that use of web technology for foreign language learning has expanded rapidly in past two decades. Previous research in dicates that computer-mediated language learning can facilitate communication, reduce fretfulness, hearten oral discussion, build up the writing/thinking link, foster social or cooperative learning, promote free class structures, increase student motivation, ease cross-cultural awareness, and improve writing skills (Yi-Ju Chen 2006). In luminosity of these optimistic results, a mounting numeral of teachers have embraced multimedia technology. For example, recent survey conducted have examined the social networking can be an excellent platform for language learner. While other studies conducted in past have focused on specific elements of language skills (namely, reading, listening, speaking, and writing), or cultural awareness, and some have reported student or instructor perceptions of technology-oriented language learning. Foreign language teachers integrate e-mail-based activities into their curriculum. For example, international key pal projects is oriented from penpal concept but keypal enable students to correspond with native speakers of the target language. Provided, the participants have the necessary access, equipment, and foreign contacts. While examining peer response through networked computers in writing classrooms and several articles on language learning and webtechnologies, I've noticed that Web-based response is easier than one-one in person response, being characterized by more participation, more discussion during interactions, more feedback, and gradually increased confidence researchers who have compared small group interactions in oral and network-based modes have shown increased user participation in virtual (web based) classroom discussions. In reviewing early research on innovative use of networked computers in language learning, found that students in networked writing projects demonstrated more strong conversation. Language learners might have more time to think, phrase responses, and participate in networked writing. “Regarding communication skills, Lee (2002) completed a pilot study using synchronous electronic chats combined with task-based instruction to boost learner communication skills. Lee demonstrated that computer-mediated communication using less structure controlled but more open-ended exchange significantly impacted the language learning process”.

According to the research conducted among the fellow students and former colleagues. I've realised most of the participants has preferred the concept of virtual learning, it gives learner a new experience to express their own thoughts about the language and get the feedback same time, it off course take lot of effort for a learner to understand language in first instance if he/she has opted for a old school learning method i.e. (class room/group sessions, reading books, etc). Were as if a user has plump for modern techniques to learn a language it may encourage and build up interest to do more language based online workshops, read articles about the language and listening to local news and many more.

Survey, participants have found elearning concept very interactive and involving. Thus this survey is only an outcome of various suggestions made by the learner who have already learned or still learning....

Twitter is becoming worlds most power full social platform of web users even though 40% information posted on Twitter is not useful or dosent make any sense to any one according to the research carried out by US firm “Pear Analytics” published in recent local news paper, for language learners websistes like twitter offer an oppertunity to connect with native speakers and learn language. Via workshop's and many other interactive tools.
