Many students have to learn many languages due to which when they have to learn other languages English they cannot learn it as they are already stuffed with many more languages. For example, In Malaysia the students have to learn second languages and many third languages, due to wish they are pressured and the students are tired of learning other new languages as a result Students does not learn subject properly. They do not feel comfortable to learn this subject or practice to speaking. The student do not give importance to this subject. They are not aware of this matter they have to learn this subject, they should not use second languages. The examples of second languages are Chinese and Malay. The students do not know many words and vocabulary in English due to which they cannot speak English and they are always speaking in second languages. They were not taught properly by the teachers in primary schools and of course in secondary schools.

They students specially code switch their languages due to may be as they do not know the languages properly or lack of words as may be the primary schools was not concerned about this sensitive English subject, the teachers not the students were made to think that English is an important subject. The school did not pay attention on students that are they learning English properly or not. Or it may be due to lack of skills of the teachers,te teacher were not appropriate to teach English properly to the student. As the teachers say that students say that students don’t see the point.Maybe a reason for this is that if they are in a class of tweety then can then they realize the teacher can’t listen to all of them at the same time,so they only feel they are learning when the teacher is listening.

To overcome this code switch of language, we all the students the teachers and also our schools or college should be concerned that the students are able to learn this subject properly without much difficulty and can understand easily and also they are able to speak in English. But this should definitely be looked or mainly concerned by the teachers and our schools. We can overcome this code switching of languages by teacher use of code switching should performs seriously. It means that teachers should be aware of code switch go during classes, they should not allow students to code switch languages while speaking with friends or with teachers in the classes or during anytime of school. In topic switch cases, teacher should be teach some basic function for that can be beneficial in the languages learning environment. Such as teacher shifts his/her language to the mother tongue of his/her students in dealing with particular grammar points, which are taught at that moment. In these cases, the students will pay attention is directed to the new knowledge by making use of code switching and accordingly making use of native tongue. Besides that, teachers have to completely speak in English in the classroom. Then the students will able to speaking English in the classroom, especial when it initiated by teachers. Therefore, teacher can build relationship with the student. One may students can speak up code switching to create a favorable language environment in the classroom. In this case, the teacher uses code switching in order to transfer the necessary knowledge for the students for clarity. Following the instruction in target language, the teacher code switches to native language in order to clarify meaning, and in this way stresses importance on the foreign language content for efficient comprehension.

One of the ways to overcome code-switching of languages is the teachers should enforce rules. Besides that, schools also should put more emphasis in ensuring rules and regulations. Schools should appoint capable teachers to teach the students properly. They should higher qualified who really can understand student`s problem and have qualified certificates can see through their problem and can create good relation with students. One of the way to overcome code switching is school should definitely enforce rules for during English lessons. If there are students who speak in their own mother tongue should be punished also the teachers should not allow students to speak in their mother tongue. Besides the awareness of school and the teacher also the student have to give important to English, they should show their interest and not feel lazy to learn. The student should be always be aware of this subject and cooperate with the teacher in learning the English subject so that it help them to learn this subject easily and improve. This way to student will avoid code switching languages during english classes.

4.0 Introduction To Cell Phones

Time by time world is moving faster and even faster with new innovations and experimentations, today we breathe in an era where mobile phone plays an essential role in our daily lives. Mobile which was once regarded as a luxury is now the thing nearest to our hearts, gone is the era when people use to communicate via land line phones now they are fonder of mobile phones and text messaging with it. Following the severe and ruthless situation in Pakistan in the recent years people have made mobile phone more important than it should have been, it helps in knowing whether person is far from danger or if trapped somewhere than the mobile phones than only mobile phone helps in knowing the welfare of the person. Mobile phones help all kinds of people and it’s very useful for students and business man. Nowadays it helps the students of schools or colleges to learn or do their work verity easily wide this device or communicate with parents during their school time, or they can also keep contact with teachers and whenever they cannot do their homework in homes they can contact teachers and do their work. Besides that, they are using their cell phones to stay in contact with family, friend and work. They are using cell phones to certain themselves when they are bored. Besides that, students also can using cell phones to go online to browse, to participate in social network and check their email. So that, College and universities should allow student to bring cell phones to classroom.

5.0 Content

In My Opinion, College and universities should allow student to bring cell phones to classroom. Because they are a lot of benefit of it. First and foremost, cell phones are good for education. Cell phones are good for education for many reasons, such as you can use cell phones for research your purpose. Although most schools have at least one computer in the classrooms and computer labs, and sometimes it still is not enough. It can also be expensive to provide computers to every student in the school, so a good option is to use mobile phones to study instead. Next, I want to talk about some apps are good for educations. Some parents think that some apps are bad and their children will get distracted and use them in class. And that truth is that cell phones have many educational apps as well. If studying with a boring book that is hard to understand, why don’t playing an educational app that is still studying, it is much more exciting. Besides that, cell phones are some good features of that are good for school is calculator. Doesn’t matter your phones are expensive or not, almost every single phone has a calculator. Student can use calculator when studying in the mathematic class. We may say without fear of contradiction that dictionary. Cell Phones can be used as a dictionary. It can very useful in a classroom. Portable dictionary is one of the features that is provided for us to having problem in vocabulary. It is used for translate the language easily by using cell phone. If we want to get the feature, we only have to install the application from Apps Store or Android of dictionaries such as “kamusku” and others dictionary by downloading from the internet. However, people are still arguing whether portable dictionary in cell phone gives more disadvantages or advantages for students. Some of whom who see the benefit of portable dictionary by using cell phone will say that it could save student’s money because they do not have to buy the real dictionary which sometimes is cost so expensive and it is also very heavy to bring it to anywhere. Then, they believe that the portable dictionary in cell phone could save students’ time because they do not have to open the dictionaries so many times and to find a word which needs a lot of time to be spent on it. In terms of advantages, there are some more points we can take from using portable dictionary in cell phone at class, which is it can saving student’s money and time. Money is one of the important things for students because most of whom are getting money only from parents or people around them. Because they still dependent to other people to live in this world especially to fulfill their needs as a students. So, saving money as much as they can is so important. So, using portable dictionary is one of the ways to save their money. Instead of using the common dictionary which can cost an expensive prize, why do not we try to use portable dictionary in our cell phone. We do not need to buy Portable dictionary with an expensive prize, we only need the internet connections in our cell phone and we just have to download the dictionary application such as “kamusku”, “Bahasa” dictionary and any other dictionary application for free. It just spends maximum 2MB for our phone memory card. For instance, we want to download kamusku portable dictionary. The first thing to do is to be sure that our cell phones are able to receive this application such as Samsung galaxy for android or iPhone for Apps Store. Then, we go to the internet connection and search for kamusku or other dictionary application. After finding it, we only have to tap ok and it will be in the progress of downloading. After it was successes to be downloaded, it is ready for us to be used. Another advantage of portable dictionary in cell phone is that we do not need to spend a lot of time for translating English or to other language. By using Portable dictionary in cell phone we only need to bring one thing, which is cell phone. Cell phone is handy which means it is useful, light, and easy to be brought and to be used; therefore instead of bringing the heavy and thick dictionary such as Oxford and Longman, we can bring the handy cell phone at class for helping us to understand the language. Although it is portable, we cannot underestimate it because it has very complete features like the thick and heavy dictionary. For example, it has synonym, thesaurus, antonym, and example of using the word in the sentence. Moreover, several portable dictionaries have been completed with phonetic transcriptions and speakers in order to know how to pronounce the words. Thus, it is very important to have the portable dictionaries in cell phone for students because it could help them a lot in English or even other language. Student can always use cell phones search on the internet for the definition. If student doesn’t understand the meaning of their work, they may able to search online. For example “YOUDAO” dictionary and so on. Besides that many students have many after schools activities, such as club and sport that students they are participate in after school hours. The students need a way to contact their parents during and after these activities, if cell phones were banned from school grounds, even just during school hours, the students cannot contact their parents afterwards. With only one or two phones in the office or on the coach, having thirty or more students per activity coming in to use the phone one after the other is just ridiculous. It would take hours, something would take minutes overall if the students had each their own cell phone. Also, Cell phones should also be used for safety. For example, teacher at a school said students don’t need to use cell phones to contract people but what if something happen like the school phones line goes died or public telephones around school was broken? And also some students forgot the phone number of their parents or friends when they are emergency. So they need their cell phones to make sure that they can contract them anytime because important of phone numbers can be easily to be store in cell phones. And if students might need to contract friends in another classroom for something important, they can always use cell phones to contract them. And it also if friends are sick, they can use cell phones to photo and take video what teacher was teaching and send to friend. It also can help them refer back the lessons not miss anything are important. Student’s should be allowed to bring their own devices and enjoy that freedom, while also being able to focus on their learning. Bringing their own device will encourage them and show a level of respect that they appreciate, and in return, they'll pay more attention to the teachers and become better students because they give back the respect they earn.

6.0 Conclusion

In my personal and humble opinion, college and universities should allow student to bring cell phones to classroom. This is simply because the students are benefited with several factors. The goal of studying is to make the students have a further understand and examine the impact of student texting or posting during class lecture, on student learning. Students more outstanding answers in their notes than the group of students who were frequently using their mobile phones. These findings provide clear so that the students will be more understanding the syllabus that taught by lecturers in classroom. Students who use their cell phones are may get benefits during their lesson. The usage mobile phones by students may lead them to get a higher achievement on their studies. The traditional of teaching methods are less on productivity. Therefore, college and universities should not district students from bringing cell phones to classroom so that a better quality of study environment could be raise.
